Land of Plenty works with property owners to create sustainable landscapes and gardens. We use the most sustainable and environmentally-friendly techniques to meet our clients’ goals. In addition to design, installation and maintenance we offer specialties in edible landscaping, using fruit trees, vines and edible perennials to create beautiful, productive gardens for residential and commercial properties in and around Boston.

The Land of Plenty approach takes advantage of the opportunities that a garden space has to offer. With an in-depth knowledge of edible, native and durable landscape plants we create gardens that reduce the risk of disease, pests, and maintenance headaches. By working closely with a client, we can reduce costs while offering a hands-on instruction in organic land and plant care. In addition to ornamental and edible plants, we also look for opportunities to plant gardens that are friendly to wildlife, especially birds, bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects.

We favor Massachusetts-grown black locust lumber for our raised beds. It weathers beautifully and is naturally more rot-resistant than pressure treated lumber.
